We have two FireTV's and a Stick

The fire stick is great for watching everything on amazon prime, netflix, whatever. Its only real downfall is it is a little slower than the fire tv when changing channels, movies, selecting things, etc. It is just not as strong, but is absolutely capable if you can deal with the extra 15 seconds it takes to get to something (I'm impatient and its frustrating when I know the fire tv is faster).

Also, the fire tv does 4k if that's your thing, while the stick does not.
